Brian Allen

Brian Allen is driven by a commitment to relevance, accessibility, and community-centered arts engagement. He believes meaningful cultural experiences should meet people where they are—in schools, parks, galleries, and public spaces. Previously, he led the German American Heritage Center and Museum and worked at the Figge Art Museum, expanding education programs, partnerships, and community-driven exhibitions. A former AmeriCorps member, Allen serves on nonprofit boards and volunteers locally. He holds an MA in Museum Studies and a BFA in Painting and Drawing. Based in Orion, IL, he lives with his wife and three children and champions the arts as a transformative community force.
