Congratulations to our 7th Grade Integrated Arts students who put on a stellar multi-media artistic presentation, Run, which opened for Jason Reynold’s book talk on May 2nd at the Davenport Main Library.

7th grade students were encouraged to explore different art avenues in their integrated arts class as they selected to be a part of one of the four following groups: Puppets/Dialogue, Game Show, Movie Trailer & Marketing, and Song & Dance.

They went outside of their comfort zone to explore the artistic processes through a new lens.

7th grade Integrated Arts students were posed with three questions:

How can we create a multi-media arts presentation inspired by the themes found in the book Ghost?

How can we reach a diverse audience?

How can we use the arts as a vessel to communicate courage, friendship, teamwork and belonging?
