Theatre/dance students from the Creative Arts Academy of the Quad Cities prepare for the school’s upcoming Winter Fest, Monday, December 14, 6 to 7:30 at the River Music Experience, Red Stone Building. Seen here are 6th and 7th graders painting scenery through the direction of their teacher, Connie Bracey and the visiting artist, scenic designer, Susan Holgersson.

Productions will include: 6th- Original version of “Goldilocks and the Three Bears”, 7th- original cartoon “The Adventures of Captain Crumb-Beard and his Crew” and a McDonald’s commercial and High School Dream students- selections from “Spoon River Anthology”. Hope each will peak at the right time!

These experiences are supported with the Quad City Arts Dollar$ funds, the Hubbel-Waterman Foundation, Illinois Arts Council Agency, John Deere, and the Doris and Victor Day Foundation and facilitated by the Creative Arts Academy of the Quad Cities.
